THIRDEAR 1.2.1 auditory distortion product instrument databurn

Windows, 64-bit. Two formats, pick the one your host loads:

  thirdear.clap copy to C:\Program Files\Common Files\CLAP\
  thirdear.vst3 copy to C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\

Rescan plug-ins in the host. Presets you save land in
%APPDATA%\databurn\thirdear\presets\ as one file each.

Use headphones, at the lowest level at which the phantom is audible.
ThirdEar plays a comb of tones, and your own cochlea turns it into the
note you hear. To hear it straight away, pick one of the Tune presets
and hold a single key: the melody plays from that key. Under the note,
A/B switches between the note your ear makes and a real note from the
speaker, so you can compare, and CANCEL opens the bench where you
cancel the phantom with a tone of your own: where it disappears, you
have measured your ear's distortion. thirdear-note.pdf is the working
note with the model and the literature it was checked against
(document DB-WP-002).
